Main Objective

  • Accountable for the overall functional and technical integrity of the solution and its interfaces to the external landscape.
  • Design integration strategies that encompass message broker, buses, and point‐to‐point connection architectures.
  • Plan and manage the integration of data and systems throughout the enterprise and external dependencies and data requirements to ensure business processes work end to end.
  • Identify and implement the most suitable enterprise and solution architecture and Data Integration tools for the organization’s needs.
  • Liaise with internal and external project teams to gain an understanding of required data architectures, functionality and services.
  • Identify suitable KPI's and measure and manage SLAs related to all data integration solutions
  • Approve the request for and development of all Integration Service objects with a view to regulate the use of implemented standards and reuse of already developed objects.
  • Participate in the requirement gathering sessions with internal and external customers.
  • Manage the design, validation, configuration, implementation, testing, and debugging of solutions.
  • To effectively coach and mentor identified high potential candidates in order to improve skills, support succession plans for key critical and scarce positions, drive staff engagement and retention and ultimately increasing profits through improved capability, performance and productivity.

 

Critical job requirements

Qualification(s):

  • Relevant IT degree
  • Integration tools certification    

Knowledge:       

  • Knowledge of data integration tools
  • MS Office suite
  • Proficient in the use of Visio
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Process mapping principles
  • Knowledge of data formats

Skills:    

  • Technical analysis and design
  • Business acumen
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation with both technical and business audiences.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

Experience:

  • 8 - 10 years relevant experience in a diverse and distributed systems and infrastructure landscape (SAP and Microsoft CRM - On Premises and Cloud solutions)
  • 5 years in managing vendors and project teams
