- Choose a quiet location to take the call

- Allow a pause before taking your turn to speak
- Thank your interviewer for their time and say goodbye in a professional way
- Emphasize your interest in the job… but keep it brief
- Have a professional email signature
In-Person Interview
- Prepare copies of your resume and cover letter and have them handy
- Do your research about the company
- Keep hair and makeup simple
- Arrive at least 10 minutes early
- Be kind to everyone you encounter
- Turn off or silent your devices
- Stand up when your interview walks in and greet politely. Smile
- Make yourself comfortable and keep a strong and confident posture
- Ask thought-provoking questions and maintain eye contact
- Tie your experience to the job in question
- Listen carefully and ask questions
