A vacancy exists for an ARG and Export Co-ordinator at Shatterprufe Struandale, Port Elizabeth. This is a General Staff position reporting to the Planning and Logistics Manager in the Planning and Logistics Department.

 

Main job purpose

To coordinate the ARG and Export orders to meet and exceed delivery performance standard by ensuring that the into FGS targets are achieved as per KPI and ARG wrapping is completed as per weekly order fill schedule.

 

Main objective

Ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support effective decision making for the business. 
Ensure timeous communication with Planning and Logistic Manager, production and customers regarding problems and shortfalls on stock levels so as to manage customer order fills. 
Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained daily/weekly/monthly in order to minimise stock losses and to reduce the negative impact on customer orders. 
Coordinate daily ARG wrapping output in order to meet weekly order fill for preservation of product while in storage at ARG and to avoid damage to product thereby reducing financial and product loss for the business. 
Assist in driving stock integrity by capturing production orders for ARG, OE and Export in line with current operating procedures ensuring that physical stock on the system matches the production order prior to loading on SAP. 
Responsible for generating all picking documentation for packing of deliveries and compiling load documentation in line with customer requirements ensuring no delays or discrepancies in customer orders; and to scan and send invoices to customers for timely processing of payment.  
Support the Planning and Logistics Manager in drawing of FGS consumables from the Consumables Stores by raising purchase orders in line with set FGS budget.

Experience

  • 2 years experience in a similar role that incorporates Dispatch Clerk and/or invoicing responsibilities
  • 2 years experience within the automotive and/or manufacturing industry
