Shatterprufe® products are installed by Original Motor manufacturers in Southern Africa.

 

 

Main job purpose

  • Coordinate enquiries and processing orders by liaising between customers and suppliers in order to provide the best possible service in supplying automotive glass and related products to the customers.

 

Main Objective

  • To be responsible for providing timeous and accurate feedback to the customer on all buyouts enquiries, in line with agreed ARG standards, customer requirements and specifications.
  • To be responsible for administering the buyout order so as to ensure on time delivery to the customer and to secure future customer sales for ARG.
  • To maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service delivery in order to establish ARG as a preferred supplier within the automotive industry.  
  • To provide the Product Development Department with order trends to assist with making key business decisions around purchasing products externally or manufacturing product internally.  
  • To ensure that supplier invoices are paid thereby ensuring that ARG remains in good standing with the suppliers to facilitate the immediate action of future orders placed. 
  • To ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support effective decision making for the business.

 

Critical job requirements

  • Grade 12
  • 2 years experience in purchasing
