Main job purpose

Multi skilled in all the equipments in the Edge Shop processing areas as well as assisting in the screen line area.

Main Objective

Buffing out of cosmetic scratches

Assisting in processing area, like Polishing, Screen Line, Arissing and Drilling

Comply to all safety rules

Adhere to all activities in processing department

Ensure that all products are handled and packed correctly to required specifications

Accountable for safety and housekeeping in your department

Report and record all breakages and defective glass to the Team Leader

Ensuring that tools are stored safely 

Maintaining and cleaning of equipment

Report any defects on machinery

Understanding and reading of drawings and job cards/labels

Ensure that all quality standards are adhered to

Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Following of all work instructions and standard operating procedures

Adhere to environmental rules

Required to operate the crane

Qualification(s)

Grade 12

Experience

1 year glass processing experience

 Glass handling and quality control
