Export Sales Coordinator - Shatterprufe Gqeberha

Shatterprufe® is the leading manufacturer and distributor of OE Auto and aftermarket replacement glass products. The company manufactures genuine Shatterprufe® laminated windscreens and Armourplate® toughened automotive safety glass products. Three automotive glass plants manufacture over 4 million pieces of laminated and toughened glass a year for customers worldwide. Shatterprufe® products are installed by Original Motor manufacturers in Southern Africa.

Main job purpose

• Responsible for processing customer orders timeously and to liaise with the manufacturing sites to ensure that the products are manufactured within set lead times and to deliver product to customer in line with expectations and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction and prevent financial loss for the business.

Main Objective

• Provide a co-ordinating function between Marketing Customers and Shatterprufe Sites by tracking the manufacturing of products against lead times ensuring Shatterprufe meets customer required delivery dates in line with contractual terms and conditions to avoid financial loss and penalties.
• Responsible for escalating any deviations from the required customer dates timeously for actions to be taken by management to remedy the problem.
• Ensuring sites produce against orders placed and that sales targets are achieved in order to avoid customer dissatisfaction and plant bottle-necks.
• Engage with customers to maintain good relationships, negotiate optimal loading and ensure packing requirements are in line with customer requirements.
• Ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support effective decision making for the business.

Critical job requirements

• Grade 12     
• Marketing or Logistics Diploma
• 2 year’s experience in customer centre role      
• 2 years automotive experience
