Main job purpose

 

To facilitate & ensure the competent and effective application of Company HR Practices in line with Company strategy to ensure efficient and affective service delivery.

 

Main objectives

  • To coordinate the recruitment process by ensuring that all applications are screened in line with relevant legislation, company strategy and practice with the aim of obtaining suitably qualified personnel. 
  • To support line management in disciplinary and grievance matters, by facilitating the process to ensure sound and fair labour practice. 
  • Take responsibility by ensuring that all the Employment Equity Meetings are scheduled in line with the EE Plan.
  • Ensure that all the external requests for donations are recorded to enable management to make a decision regarding the funding.
  • To support the HR department by ensuring that all the performance scores are captured on SAP/SuccessFactors to monitor employee performance.
  • To maintain the SAP/SuccessFactors HR system to ensure that information is accurately captured. 

 

Critical job requirement

National Diploma in Human Resources Management/Labour Relations

 

Knowledge:

knowledge and interpretation of all applicable legislation – LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA , COIDA

 

Skills: 

Business Acumen

Interpersonal Skills

Communication Skills

Planning & Organizing Skills

 

Experience:

2 years exposure as an HR Generalist or in the position of an HR Officer/Practitioner

Manufacturing Environment knowledge or exposure
