Job Title: Assembler - Cape Town (2 Positions)

Main job purpose

To assemble aluminium profile lengths into windows, as outlined on the production instruction. 

Main objective

• Obtain the production instruction from the team leader
• Perform daily Inspection and service of assembly tools
• Set up  the working station
• Assemble crimped   frames and sashes into a complete window as required on the production instruction
• Collates all windows  for the same order into one order group and move in groups to the  next workstation
• Complete  scrapping form request as required on the production instruction
• Complete scrapping request forms and housekeeping daily
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized area at all times
• Observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices or conditions.
• Work according to standard operating procedure (SOP)
• Maintain daily production record such as quantity, dimensions, square meters, cubic meters and material type by means of a standardised production sheet
• Report any discrepancy to the team leader
• Depending on the workload requirement, the incumbent may be required to work in  other subsection or / and different department  when it is required

Experience

1 year aluminum processing experience
