Main job purpose

  • To manage the buy-outs department to ensure that all orders are correctly processed, enquiries and issues are resolved timeously, and customers are continuously satisfied with the service delivery

 

Main Objective

  • To achieve the set buyouts targets through the effective management of orders being processed by the team in order to satisfy the customers and support the overall achievement of the sales targets set.
  • To effectively manage and authorise credit and debit notes daily to ensure that price variances are adjusted for correct invoicing to customers and suppliers.
  • To manage and coordinate all customer queries (including special orders) to ensure overall customer satisfaction and continuity of business on a daily basis.
  • To manage, train, develop and coordinate the tasks of the buyout team to achieve an efficient and effective service delivery to the business and its’ customers.
  • To ensure that all Buyout activities are accurately and timeously communicated and reported on in order for various departments and management to make informed business decisions on a daily basis.

 

Critical job requirements

  • Grade 12     
  • Diploma in Sales & marketing / Supply chain / Logistics
  • 3 years customer service experience     
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience
  • 2 years in a manufacturing environment

 

Knowledge
