Main job purpose
Provide professional technical support to customers with the aim of resolving process related problems and improving processes by adopting, technically sound practices and procedures.
Main Objective
- Set standards and specification based on best practice, knowledge and design to define the operational envelope.
- Audit processes to ensure that processes adhere to set standards.
- Gather and analyse information, identify deviations from standards and recommend corrective actions to maintain process stability.
- Drive process improvements projects to improve safety, save costs and or time.
- Keep abreast of current and new technology and implement where possible to maintain state of the art glass manufacturing.
- Conduct high level surveys to maintain or improve operating life
- Maintenance of operational data bases to ensure integrity of data.
- Responsible for the compliance to regulations, standards and legislation.
