Main job purpose:
Deliver efficient and accurate HR and Corporate Administrative and Funds support duties with specific focus on compliance, reporting, administration and HR system integrity to ensure effective delivery and support of HR, Corporate and Funds services.
Main objective:
- Provide administrative support to the Group Functions HR and Office Manager, including the ongoing monitoring of costs to ensure all cost saving opportunities are acted on.
- Effectively execute tasks relating to funds and benefit administration as requested by the Principle officers of the PG Group Provident Fund and the PG Group Medical Scheme, in order to ensure compliance to prevailing legislation.
- Supervise and direct office support staff (with the assistance of the Group Functions HR and Office Manager) to ensure full delivery of service and provide an efficient and effective office management service to both internal and external customers.
- Monitor the building and facilities to ensure they are in a condition of operating excellence. This includes servicing of the generator and ensuring that maintenance requirements are met and the fuel level is at an adequate level at all times, as energy supply into the building it critical.
- Ensure health and safety standards are upheld, and that any concerns regarding safety that are reported, are dealt with due urgency as needed.
- Deliver effective end to end efficient HR system administration to ensure accurate and up to date information is available for Group Functions.
- Provide accurate and timeous reports in line with requirements.
- Assist with required recruitment and take-on process for Group Functions in order to ensure optimum applicant experience and sound placement practices in line with prevailing policies and procedures.
- Assist and support the Group Functions HR and Office Manager with HR Systems and Office Management projects in order to support business initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication of relevant HR and Office Management information to all stakeholders to support and promote effective open lines of communication.
- Maintain permission groups / permission roles for systems authorisations.
- Assist in monitoring and supporting the integration with SAP SF and SAP HCM systems.
- Provide HR systems support to HR end users for all system queries, including the support of the HR systems adoption process.
- Train the HR systems end user as and when the need arises.
- Support SAP / SF maintenance.
- Provide general HR support to the HR team as and when required.
- Monitoring and advising on the Group Structures.
- Support and assist in co-ordinating in BBBEE & Employment Equity activities.
- To ensure staff are effectively managed and held accountable through performance and disciplinary procedures, and that staff are developed and mentored through the talent management and IDP process.
Qualifications:
Grade 12
Relevant HR degree
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of SAP / SuccessFactors
Working knoweldge of relevant legislations: EE, BCEA, LRA
Skills:
Microsoft Office (Advanced Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

Experience:
Minimum 5 years relevant HR / Administration experience
1 year demonstrated supervisory experience
