Job Purpose: 

This is a fulltime onsite role based in Springs, Gauteng. To coordinate and execute Group development initiatives and assist in the implementation of the Company's people development strategy and programmes through effective planning, organising, coordination and tracking to ensure successful implementation.

 

Job Objectives

  • Coordinate skills capacity building within the divisions in line with the training & development initiatives driven by Group and Divisional business demands, assuming the overall responsibility for the effective control of training related issues and interventions throughout Shatterprufe
  • Coordinate all activities required to implement and embed the learning management system as well as e-learning within the divisions to support Group initiatives and facilitate effective shop-floor learning
  • Ensure sound knowledge of all applicable legislation in order to provide support and guidance to key stakeholders including the human resources team and site stakeholder meetings
  • Ensure that Skills and Development knowledge and interaction with the SETAs remains up to date in order to effectively guide and support business needs
  • Coordinate all aspects of people development to support efficiency, sound customer relations and service delivery to Shatterprufe
  • Ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support decision making for the business
  • Provide effective training and development support to the SX Corporate HR team and the entire organisation, to ensure that business goals and Stakeholder relationships are achieved through effective team work
  • Implement necessary interventions to give effect to training imperatives, and to improve and/or resolve training issues which might arise within the organisation
  • Execute activities with colleagues, peers, management, and key stakeholders to ensure that professionalism is maintained, training challenges are resolved, and delivery achieved in line with policy, commitments and deadlines, in order to secure adherence to training protocols and procedures
  • Maintain an effective, accurate and up to date training administration system and record keeping, in order to ensure that training records are correct and available at all times for Audits or Legal Compliance purposes
  • Collate BBBEE reports for all SX Divisions together with supporting documents for external audits and accreditation
  • Maximise discretionary and mandatory grant funding via the relevant SETAS in line with the Organisation’s skills requirements
  • Coordinate and monitor and track key development initiatives across SX sites including, but not limited to the recruitment and administration of graduate programmes, apprenticeship programmes, and internships, to ensure that sites effectively manage these programmes and address shortcomings in line with policy and stakeholder requirements

 

Qualifications: 

HR / Social Sciences or related Degree

 

Knowledge:

HR and Training related policies and procedures
Plan, lead, organise and control
Recruitment and asessment practices
BBBEE rules and regulations
Skills Development related legislation

 

Skills: 

Report writing and reporting techniques
Learner behaviour/expectation management
Relationship management skills

 

Experience: 

Recruitment, selection and assessment procedures
Solving problems and implementing corrective action procedures
Planning and coordinating multiple activities simultaneously
5 years relevant experience in a coordinating role
